69th Class Reunion
Earlier this summer my father-in-law asked me if I would help out with his class reunion since my mother-in-law passed away in March. I gladly accepted the invitation, although in the end, I didn't really do much.
The group graduated from North Division High School 69 years ago! There were about 20 former classmates in attendance along with various family members who were doing the driving.
The lunch was catered by the Prime Minister restaurant in Thiensville, so there was little work to do.
My father-in-law enjoyed the day with stories that were shared and memories were sort of the truth. These classmates are 88 to 89 years old! My Parkinson's was not an issue since I was helping with walkers and canes. Being 30 years younger than this group was a help.
When I asked the event planners, Jackie and Jack if they had sent photos to North Division high school as mementos, they just gave me a blank look. They explained that technology was not easy for them, so I volunteered to do that.
