

Cooking Class
Gabby and Dan invited us to take a cooking class at Sur la Table, a store at Bayshore Mall. We then organized this class. For the French inspired menu we made Steak au Poivre with Brandy and Mustard Sauce, salad with French vinagrette, roasted potatoes with herbs, and dark chocolate souffle'.The cost for the class includes the meal. Dance Instructors
In preparation for an upcoming article in the Mequon Beacon, I asked Miss Julia and Mr. Larsen to take a photo since they are both responsible for Chris and I dancing. Both of them have worked with us for years! We greatly appreciate their patience and kindness. When we started dancing Miss Julia was a student and competed across the country. She retired as a national champion and started teaching shortly after that. Her teaching has greatly improved and we both enjoy her


Spaghetti Day
My family loves my spaghetti sauce, especially when we shop at Gloriosos Italian grocery store on the east side of Milwaukee. While the store is small, the deli and restaurant area fills the space. We have our shopping list memorized, which makes the excursion easy. This is the olive oil and tomato sauce isle, so you can see how condensed space is. Snow Day #6
Today was the sixth snow day that the West Bend School District has had in the last three weeks! It also has been four years since we have had any snow days. When the snow plow arrived this evening after the snow had stopped, the plow driver came to plow the drive way. Since we have not paid attention to our own snow blower, and thus it doesn't start, I paid the plow driver to use his snow blower to clear the sidewalk.
