These two lovely ladies stayed back during the boat parade so they could cheer on the other boats. As the boats pass by each property, there is the common greeting and sometimes tossing of candy. Mertie is a special person in the lives of my daughters because she was their official day car provider for 5-6 years. Mertie is their second mom, which we are all thankful for.
